A few Roster spots may be available this week, available on a first come first serve basis. To signup for the Commissioners Add-Drop list please be at the Park by 6:30. Spots are available on a first come first serve basis.
Players will not be able to take the field until they have signed the roster form.
The Managers held a meeting to draft teams on March 20th. The Spring Season Opening Night is set for March 27, 2008 (schedule TBA). There are now 8 teams instead of 9 as New Moon did not sponsor a team this season.
All teams were re-drafted for the Spring Season. 91 players were drafted one by one by team Managers in reverse order according to the final Fall standings. All returning players and new players who were properly signed up were drafted. All players who sign-up going forward will be placed on the Commissioners' add-drop list. If you are not contacted by your new Manager by email or phone (please check all your messages), email david@thursdaysoftball.com or contact your former Manager from the Fall '07 season.

All players wishing to play but not drafted on a team should show up at 6:30 PM on Thursday nights at Mills Pond Park (Field 5) to be placed on the Commissioners add-drop list on a first come first serve basis. Only Commissioners may asign players to teams.

New Players Welcome!
All teams have been drafted. Sign-Up for the add/drop list. To expedite placement by signing up on the add-drop list please plan on being at Mills Pond Park on Thursday, March 27th at 6:30 pm.
Due to the socially competitive nature of the league, requests for specific teams, field positions and playing time, are not necessary nor guaranteed to be honored. Players with some experience (1 year or more) will have more opportunities to compete in the beginning and may share playing time with other players. Experienced and returning players often receive most of the playing time; however, beginners with patience and the desire to improve will earn more opportunities to play. Coaches and Managers make roster decisions balancing the needs of the team and the goal to be open to committed beginners receiving playing time.
Players who have played in the past but were not on a Fall 07 roster must sign-up for add-drop list . If you played thursday night GLO League softball in Fall 07, you do not need to sign-up.
